SNEAK PEEK
This story begins in West Lafayette, Indiana…
Ellen and Rob met at Harry’s Chocolate Shop (which, to my disappointment, does not actually serve chocolate). They immediately hit it off and a relationship began. After four years of adventures, they returned to Indiana to join their family and friends to celebrate the beginning of a new journey.
Carmel, IN provided a magnificent backdrop for Ellen & Rob’s day. I couldn’t get over the charm and beauty of this Indianapolis Suburb!
THE PREP
I met up with Ellen & Rob in the morning to record portions of the letters they exchanged. I’m so happy that Ellen & Rob decided to incorporate audio into their film; they certainly have a way with words! Rob included photos, notes, and moments from their adventures together which was so unique and thoughtful!
THE CEREMONY
After everyone was prepped and ready to roll, we headed to St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church where Ellen & Rob made it official! I can’t get over how pretty this church was (and the natural light from the sizable windows made this videographer very pleased).
THE RECEPTION
After a wild trolley ride through Carmel, the newlyweds arrived at the Ritz-Charles to celebrate. The venue was decorated elegantly, and these two did not miss a single detail! Ellen made sure that her grandmother’s 91st birthday did not go unnoticed and even took a moment to bring out a birthday cake. The maid of honor, matron of honor, and best man shared toasts & the pair hit the dance floor .
I’m so happy Ellen and Rob invited me out to capture their special day. These two are so genuine and kind, and I could not be happier for them. I am so excited to share this sneak peek of their day.
